centre financing

Robust financial planning is critical to our organisation. Our mission to remain at the forefront of scanning technology requires a large capital commitment in purchasing the scanners and careful monitoring and control of the cost involved in operating and staffing sophisticated systems.

Scanners are constantly evolving and to keep abreast of the latest developments and to offer patients the most up to the minute equipment we have to acquire a new scanner every 2 to 3 years at a cost of upwards of £1,500,000. All of this has to be raised entirely by voluntary contributions, legacies and fundraising events.

The operating costs of the scanners and the salaries of the top-class staff required to get the best results from them are funded by selling services to the NHS on a not-for-profit basis and to the private sector. To ensure financial stability we have to maximise the number of patients referred to us. We do this by making sure that our prices are extremely competitive and our quality of service is exceptional.
