Social Events 2010
In 2009 we held a range of interesting social events for the Friends of Paul Strickland Scanner Centre. Our social secretary has more up her sleeve this year and is starting our 25th Anniversary year with a visit to the Battle of Britain Operations Room, located in The Banker at RAF Uxbridge. It was restored in the mid-1970’s and is now a private museum. This tour is planned for Wednesday, 17th March, at 2.00pm, with an optional lunch first at The RAFA Club. Please call the Appeals office on 01923 844290 to book your place. Friends are more than welcome to bring a friend, relative, neighbour or colleague with them – the more the merrier!
Later on in the year we are planning visits to Lille and Twinwood. More details will follow soon but in the meantime please register your interest with the Appeals office on 01923 844290.
