Paul Strickland Scanner Centre can provide you with CT, MRI or PET/CT imaging services at the request of your Consultant or General Practitioner. Our services are available to the National Health Service on a “not for profit” basis thus saving the NHS the cost of providing such expensive specialised equipment.

We are part of the BUPA and PPP network of private imaging service providers and work with virtually all the UK health insurance companies, providing images at very competitive rates.

In addition, we offer extremely good value to patients who chose the self-financing route and we will be delighted to quote for your individual need.

When you or your doctor send us a referral form we will send you an appointment or contact you directly to arrange a suitable appointment time. Unless your doctor has requested your scan be performed at a certain time during or after your treatment, the appointment is likely to be within a few days of our receiving the referral. Once we have performed your scan our radiologists will prepare a written report which we will send on to your doctor. Normally the reports are available within two working days but it is advisable to wait a week before going back to your doctor. Where we know that you have a booked follow-up appointment, we will do our utmost to ensure that the report is back in time.
