Margaret Sullivan
Chief Executive
Margaret has worked in the NHS since 1988. From 1996 to 2003 she was Business Manager and then General Manager of the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. She left Mount Vernon to become Senior Manager at the North London Cancer Network and from there she went on to become General Manager, Cancer Services with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is now very pleased to join the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre as Chief Executive to take forward the ongoing expansion of its facilities and scanning capacity.

Dr Vicky Goh MA MB BChir MRCP FRCP Consultant Radiologist joined Paul Strickland Scanner Centre in 2002
She has a special interest in gastrointestinal and oncological radiology. Her area of research is the development of functional imaging using CT, which involves studying blood flow in tumours to assess disease activity and the response to treatment. Since joining the Centre, Dr Goh has developed the Centre's CT practice, introducing state of the art techniques such as CT colonography or 'virtual colonography'. She has also built up an active CT research practice at the Centre and established an international reputation as one of the leading experts in functional CT imaging - so called 'perfusion'

Dr Anwar Padhani MB BS FRCP FRCR Consultant Radiologist
In addition to his senior role at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, Dr Padhani is honorary senior lecturer at University College, London. Previously, for six years, he was senior lecturer in MRI at the Institute of Cancer Research at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust in London.
Dr Padhani says: “Imaging is the fastest developing medical specialty because of the convergence of medical engineering and computer technology applied for the care of patients and for conducting research”. Dr Padhani has established an international reputation in the imaging evaluation of patients with cancer. His main clinical interests are the use of MRI, CT, functional and 3D imaging. He is an expert in a number of new MRI applications including dynamic and breast MRI and MR lymphography.

Dr Wai Lup Wong BA (hons) FRCP FRCR Consultant Radiologist
Mount Vernon Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College, London. Previously he was lecturer at St Thomas' Hospital, London. Dr Wong has given numerous Papers and Invited Lectures on the applications of PET imaging. He is the author or co-author of Journal Papers, Review Articles and Published Abstracts, and has been awarded prizes by the Royal College of Radiologists and the British Institute of Radiology.

Dr R J Chambers FRCP ( C )
FRCP (Edin) Consultant Radiologist PET and PET/CT imaging
Highlights from her exceptional career include being Senior Research Officer at Groot Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, involved in the first heart transplants under Dr Christiaan Barnard and in senior positions in South Africa, USA and Canada, latterly as Director, Cardiac Radiology, Heart Institute, University of Ottawa. Returning to the UK, Dr Chambers became Consultant in Cardiothoracic and Transplant Radiology and, subsequently, Consultant in Clinical Governance at Harefield Hospital.
